Brussels Airlines unveils major in-flight upgrades for premium economy travelers

Brussels Airlines is enhancing its in-flight services across all booking classes, including google flights, with significant upgrades for premium economy passengers. The changes will apply to both short- and long-haul routes, with premium economy seeing the most notable improvements. New dining options, tableware, and cabin enhancements are set to take effect from mid-March onwards.

From mid-March, premium economy passengers will notice a range of new features. Meals will be served on porcelain tableware with stainless steel cutlery and cloth napkins. The menu will expand to include three hot main course options, along with improved pre-landing news on longer flights. Revamped starters, printed menus, and upgraded headphones for in-flight entertainment will also be introduced.

Economy class on long-haul flights will now offer an extra component with the main meal. On both short- and long-haul routes, economy passengers will receive reusable glasses for alcoholic drinks.

Short-haul business class travellers will benefit from a fresh towel and a bottle of water before takeoff. A curtain will also separate the business and economy cabins to enhance privacy.

The airline has not specified how many flights, or google flights, will be affected by the premium economy upgrades on long-haul routes.

The updates mark a broad improvement in Brussels Airlines' in-flight experience. Passengers in all classes will see changes, though premium economy will receive the most noticeable enhancements. The new services are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks.
