Primorsky Krai sees sharp fuel price hikes despite stable supplies
Fuel prices in Primorsky Krai have risen sharply over the past week. Despite the increases, gas stations report no shortages or unusually long queues at the pumps. The regional Ministry of Energy confirmed that Primorsky Krai holds enough fuel reserves to meet demand. This assurance comes as retail prices for gasoline and diesel have climbed noticeably across the region.
From 22 to 29 June, prices in the regional capital rose steadily. The Ussuri network adjusted its rates midweek, with AI-92 and AI-95 seeing the sharpest jumps. Oktan gas stations also raised prices for AI-92, AI-95, diesel and AI-100 during the same period. NNK-Primornefteprodukt followed a similar pattern, with gradual increases for AI-92, AI-95 and diesel.
As of 29 June, Transneft and Zelyony Ugol stations listed AI-92 at 77 rubles, AI-95 at 79 rubles, AI-98 at 95 rubles and diesel at 95 rubles per litre. Megatek kept its prices slightly lower, with AI-92 at 78 rubles and diesel at 88 rubles. BENZO stations, however, did not change their prices but had no AI-95 available. Drivers in Primorsky Krai continue to find fuel without major disruptions. The regional government states that supplies remain stable despite the rising costs at many stations. Price adjustments have varied between networks, with some increasing rates more sharply than others.
