Sergeyevka's key road nears completion after major infrastructure upgrades
Repairs on a 4-kilometre stretch of a central road in Sergeyevka are almost finished. The project is part of the national initiative 'Infrastructure for Life' and aims to improve connectivity for local residents. Inspectors recently reviewed the progress on site. Pavel Khmelnitsky, Deputy Director of Primorsky Krai’s Road Management Agency, and Dina Bushuyeva, a public observer, visited the location to check the work. Bushuyeva evaluated the quality, recorded the advances, and shared feedback from residents with the contractor.
Specialists from Montazhservis have completed most of the major tasks. They formed drainage ditches, replaced unstable soil, and finished the stormwater management system. The asphalt pavement is now being finalised, and the road shoulders will soon be reinforced.
With 98% of the repairs done, only minor tasks remain. Markings will be painted, and guideposts will be installed in the coming days. The renewed road will serve as a reliable link between Sergeyevka and the district’s wider network. It is a vital transport route used daily by residents for travel and transport. The upgrades are set to enhance the quality of life for the local community.
