New water treatment station solves Zheleznodorozhny's long-standing contamination crisis

The water quality issue in Zheleznodorozhny microdistrict of Vyazemsky district has been addressed. A new modular water treatment station was purchased to replace the outdated system inherited from JSC RZhD, which failed to meet sanitary standards. The regional budget allocated 10 million rubles for the new station. It features a capacity of 10 m³ per hour and includes advanced de-ironization and demanganation technology. The system operates in both automatic and manual modes, with automatic filter washing to ensure efficiency.

Cold water supply will begin in test mode on June 15. Full commissioning is expected by the end of June. Short-term disruptions may occur during the setup period, but normal supply will resume once installation is complete. The new station will restore water supply to full compliance with sanitary standards. Residents can expect reliable service after the commissioning phase. The upgrade eliminates the previous system’s shortcomings.
