Krasnodar upgrades 2 km of key road under national infrastructure push
Krasnodar Territory has made progress in upgrading its road network. A recent renovation completed a two-kilometre section of the Andreeva Gora–Varennikovskaya–Anapa road in Krymsky District. This forms part of broader regional development efforts under the Infrastructure for Life national project. Since 2019, over a thousand infrastructure facilities have been built in Kuban. These include nearly 1,700 kilometres of regional and local roads. The Infrastructure for Life project remains a central tool for meeting the region’s development targets.
By 2026, authorities plan to repair 210 kilometres of regional roads. Of these, 16 sections spanning 109 kilometres will receive upgrades through the national project. Funding for these works will come from the Krasnodar Territory’s Road Fund, which has a 2026 budget of 63.7 billion rubles. Of this, 9.4 billion rubles are earmarked specifically for the national initiative. The completed stretch in Krymsky District demonstrates ongoing improvements to local transport links. Further repairs and upgrades are scheduled across the region over the next two years. The allocated budget ensures continued investment in road infrastructure.
