Primorsky Electric Networks gears up for the 11th Eastern Economic Forum
Specialists from Primorsky Electric Networks are preparing energy infrastructure for the 11th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). The event will take place from September 1 to 4 at the Far Eastern Federal University campus in Vladivostok. It serves as an annual platform for political leaders, business representatives, and public figures from Russia’s Far East and Asia-Pacific region. Primorsky DRSK facilities will enter a 'technological quiet mode' three days before the EEF begins. This is the branch’s eleventh time ensuring reliable electricity supply for the forum.
Energy workers are currently inspecting electrical equipment and updating power grid schematics. They are also conducting tests on Russky Island to guarantee readiness. Two new uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units have been purchased to support the event.
Engineers from other company branches have been brought in to assist. Round-the-clock duty shifts will be organised during the EEF, with managers, operational staff, and repair crews on standby.
Beyond the main venue, energy workers will oversee critical urban infrastructure. This includes marine and railway terminals, Vladivostok International Airport, and hotels. The preparations aim to ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the forum. All key systems and backup measures are being put in place ahead of the event. The branch has a proven track record in supporting the EEF’s energy needs.
