Dubai Metro's Centerpoint Station bridge closes for Blue Line expansion

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has temporarily closed the pedestrian bridge leading to Centerpoint Metro Station. The decision comes as part of ongoing work on the Blue Line, one of the city’s largest metro expansion projects. The closure disrupts commuters who relied on the footbridge as their main route into the station. To manage the change, authorities have opened an alternative ground-level passageway on Level G. This temporary route provides access to the Red Line entrance.

Clear directional signs have been placed along the way. They aim to help passengers navigate the new path with minimal confusion. The footbridge will remain closed until further notice. Commuters are advised to use the designated ground-level route. Work on the Blue Line expansion continues as planned.
