A public outreach event took place on June 25 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at a local shopping and entertainment centre. The initiative aimed to uphold the principle of 'law and order' by providing residents with direct access to legal support and specialist advice. Representatives from the prosecutor’s office, government agencies, and local departments were present to assist attendees. Residents could consult experts on a wide range of topics, including employment, social protection, education, healthcare, housing, children’s rights, entrepreneurship, urban planning, ecology, and energy.
Special focus was placed on children’s rights protection. Experts advised parents on addressing violations, resolving conflicts, tackling bullying, and navigating guardianship and special educational needs. Astana’s Child Rights Protection Agency also explained its role in reviewing reports of potential violations and coordinating responses.
Participants received informational brochures outlining key legal issues and guidance on protecting their rights. Eraly Beysekeyev, a prosecutor, stated that the event’s main goal was to make legal assistance more accessible. Agency representatives highlighted the open format, which allowed residents to consult multiple specialists in one place without prior appointments. The event was well-received by attendees, who found it convenient and informative. It provided an opportunity for residents to address various legal concerns, from administrative offences to housing disputes, in a single, easily accessible setting.
