An 18-year-old man has been accused of killing two teenage girls in a hit-and-run incident in Cranford, New Jersey. Vincent Battiloro is facing charges after the tragedy occurred on Burnside Avenue on 29 September 2025. Both victims were riding an e-bike when they were struck by a vehicle. The incident took place at around 5:30 p.m. Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas, both 17, died at the scene. Investigators believe Battiloro intentionally hit them while driving at least 70 mph in a 25 mph zone.

A video was later streamed to Battiloro’s YouTube channel. It featured a young man talking about false allegations and bullying. The Union County Prosecutor’s Office has not yet announced his next court date. Battiloro remains in custody following the charges. The case involves serious allegations of intentional harm.
