Air Astana Group has expanded its services between Kazakhstan and Georgia with new routes and increased flights. The airline now offers up to 44 weekly connections during the peak summer season. It also provides stopover programmes for transit passengers with long layovers in Almaty and Astana. The airline launched its first direct service between Almaty and Tbilisi in June 2011. Later, it introduced routes like Astana-Tbilisi in 2015, Almaty-Batumi in 2021, and Almaty-Kutaisi in 2023. More connections, including Atyrau-Tbilisi in 2025 and Astana-Batumi in 2026, are planned. In 2025 alone, the group carried over 270,000 passengers on these routes, a 17% rise from the previous year.

Air Astana Group operates a fleet of 63 aircraft under its two brands, Air Astana JSC and FlyArystan JSC. The group serves destinations across Kazakhstan and Georgia, including Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau, Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi. Both airlines have earned Skytrax awards, with Air Astana named Best Airline in Central Asia & CIS for fourteen consecutive years and FlyArystan recognised as the Best Low-Cost Carrier in the region three times.

For passengers with connecting flights, the Stopover Holiday and Mytour programmes offer hotel stays in Almaty or Astana. These start at $30 for the first night and are available to those with layovers longer than 10 hours. The airline continues to grow its network and passenger numbers between Kazakhstan and Georgia. Its stopover programmes and frequent flights aim to improve travel convenience for transit passengers. The group remains the largest airline in Central Asia, with a strong reputation for service quality.
