Primorsky Electric Networks is rolling out a major investment programme to improve power supply across Primorsky Krai. The 2026 plan includes nearly 600 projects aimed at boosting reliability and quality. Works are already underway in several key locations.

Under the regional modernisation programme (MIREK), crews are upgrading the 110 kV Davydovka–Barabash–Slavyanka transmission line. They are also reconstructing the 110/35/6 kV Molodyozhnaya substation in Arsenyev Urban District. These efforts form part of a broader push to strengthen the grid.

In Vladivostok, the Ippodrom substation is nearing the end of its upgrade to 110 kV. Meanwhile, construction has begun on the 110/6 kV Snegovaya substation, which will serve the Snegovaya Pad area. Two 6.3 MVA transformers and core equipment are already in place, and a new 110 kV line will soon connect the site.

Nakhodka is seeing multiple developments. A contractor has been chosen for the 35/10 kV Pliazhaya substation, including 22 kilometres of new 10 kV and 0.4 kV lines. The city will also gain the 110/6 kV Sovetskaya substation to support a new residential complex. Additionally, the Nakhodka Capital Construction Authority is overseeing the 110/6 kV Perevalnaya substation for large-family housing.

Elsewhere, the 110 kV Plastun substation is being reconstructed. Its 10 MVA transformer will be replaced with a 16 MVA unit, allowing the site to switch from diesel generators to centralised power. The programme also covers nearly 287 kilometres of new or upgraded power lines and over 226 MVA of additional capacity. The investment plan will add significant capacity to Primorsky Krai’s power network. New substations and transmission lines will improve supply for residential areas and critical infrastructure. The upgrades are set to complete by 2026.
