Generation Uranium launches MMT survey to unlock Yath project's uranium potential

Generation Uranium Inc. will carry out a mobile magnetotelluric (MMT) survey over the centre and western parts of its Yath project in July 2026. The survey targets a critical area known as the Central Gap Zone, which is vital for tracing geological trends from the LAC 50 Uranium Deposit. The Central Gap Zone includes several northeast-trending structures linked to uranium mineralisation at sites like BOG, MP-25, Amy’s OC, and Lucky Break. The survey will also cover parts of the west side of the Yath claim block, where the VGR-NORM trend features a deep, clay-altered, uranium-bearing structure that remains poorly understood.

MMT surveys for unconformity-style uranium systems focus on graphitic conductor fault zones, hydrothermal alteration halos, and deep structural controls. By combining MMT data with historic mapping and sampling, the company has refined the footprint of known targets and gained better insight into structural orientations beneath surface cover.

CEO Michael Collins noted the company’s satisfaction with the final MMT package being flown over these areas. Additionally, Generation Uranium has granted incentive stock options for up to 500,000 common shares at $0.08 each, expiring on June 30, 2028. The company also paid $1,500 and issued 21,429 finder warrants at $0.12 each, expiring June 15, 2028. The survey aims to fill a gap in existing MMT coverage and improve understanding of the project’s geological potential. The collected data will help refine exploration targets in the Central Gap Zone and the western Yath claim block. These efforts support the company’s ongoing work to identify and develop uranium resources.
