Sochi bus fares to increase from 1 July 2023 on key routes

Fares on several municipal bus routes in Sochi will rise from 1 July 2023. The change affects trips within the city limits, with prices adjusted for different services. Numbers 7р, 8, 13, 19, 22, 25, 41, 95, and 98 will charge 55 rubles per ride. Routes 88, 115, 130, 517, 534, 558, and 560 will follow the same rate, except during peak hours.

During busy times—5:00 AM to 7:00 AM and from 9:00 PM until the end of service—the fare on these routes will rise to 60 rubles. Routes 26, 35, 57, and 87 will keep their current fare of 25 rubles.

The increase stems from higher operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, spare parts, and fleet modernisation. For routes extending beyond Sochi, fares will depend on the distance travelled.
