Over the past five years, the oblast has halved its dilapidated housing stock. Gasification levels have also risen sharply during this period.
The program includes major social projects. Construction of new social facilities is underway in Korsakov, Kholmsk, and the northern districts. Funds have also been allocated to modernise fishing industry infrastructure, improving docks and refrigeration capacities.
State Duma Deputy Georgy Karlov stressed the importance of practical action. Since its launch in September 2025, the 'Happy Motherhood' project has attracted over 9,000 participants. Pregnancy rates in the region have been climbing steadily since then. The program supports the president’s vision for the Far East as a region of new opportunities and economic growth. Its success will depend on continued investment in infrastructure and social services. The oblast aims to build on these achievements in the coming years.
