Nizhny Novgorod sees surge in natural gas connection requests under new program

Residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region have shown strong interest in natural gas access. A total of 3,843 applications were submitted under a regional programme. The initiative is managed by Gazprom Gazifikatsiya LLC, the national gasification operator. The programme has seen significant progress. Over 3,600 gas connection agreements have been signed, covering 96% of all applications received. This high rate of approval reflects the demand for natural gas in the area.

Out of the signed agreements, 659 contracts have already been fulfilled. These represent 17% of the total agreements and involve gas line connections to individual plot boundaries. The programme continues to expand access to natural gas in the region. With most applications approved and a growing number of connections completed, more households are set to benefit. Gazprom Gazifikatsiya LLC remains responsible for overseeing the rollout.
