Claude Code's Artifacts turns sessions into shareable, interactive web pages

Claude Code has introduced Artifacts, a new feature for turning session results into interactive web pages. The tool is currently in beta for Team and Enterprise users. It allows developers to present their work in a structured, shareable format. With Artifacts, users can request a visual output or explicitly ask for one during a session. Each Artifact compiles the full context of a session, including code snippets, connected tools, and conversation history. The feature updates automatically under the same URL whenever changes occur, with version history tracked for reference.

Artifacts can be shared via a link, which works in both browsers and the Claude Code desktop app. Sharing options are available in the header. By default, they remain private, visible only to authenticated members of the user’s organisation.

Administrators manage access through role-based permissions and retention policies. The feature supports various use cases, such as PR walkthroughs, incident timelines, licence audits, and architecture overviews. Users can create and access Artifacts through the command-line interface or the desktop application. The beta release of Artifacts is now available to Claude Team and Enterprise customers. It provides a way to document and share session outputs securely within an organisation. Access and visibility are controlled by existing permission settings.
