FESCO joins Far East logistics talks at Vladivostok's key transport forum
FESCO Transportation Group recently took part in the 'PRO//Movement. East' transport and logistics conference held in Vladivostok. The event gathered key figures from Russian Railways, exporting firms, freight forwarders, and stevedoring companies across the Far East. Roman Dyablov, Commercial Director of FESCO Integrated Transport’s Vladivostok branch, attended on behalf of the company. He spoke about current trends in container shipping and the market’s potential for growth. The conference also covered the Eastern Range’s throughput capacity, its future development, and projected demands.
Discussions included the competition between road and rail freight in the Far East. Participants noted a revival in container transshipment, driven by the shift of logistics flows to Far Eastern ports. Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port, now modernised, can handle over 1 million TEU each year and is ready for any rise in cargo turnover.
FESCO is working closely with RZD while managing its own container fleet. The company’s involvement highlights its role in the region’s evolving transport network. The conference provided a platform for industry leaders to exchange insights on logistics and infrastructure. Vladivostok’s port upgrades and FESCO’s collaboration with RZD signal readiness for increased trade activity. The event underscored the region’s growing importance in global shipping routes.
