A cursed man's race against time in The Blood of Dawnwalker RPG
A new vampire-themed RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, is coming in 2026. Developed by Rebel Wolves—a studio led by former Witcher 3 creators—the game promises an open-world adventure set in 14th-century Europe. Players will step into the role of Coen, a man cursed to become a vampire each night.
The story follows Coen as he races against time to save his family. With only 30 days and 30 nights to complete his mission, certain main quests will shorten the countdown to the final confrontation. However, side quests and exploration won't be restricted by this timer, allowing players to shape their journey freely.
Even after the main story ends, the world remains open for further exploration. The game blends survival, action, and RPG elements, all set in a dark, historical Europe. Rebel Wolves, founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, includes several developers who previously worked on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
The game's time-limited main quests add urgency, while its open world encourages deep exploration. Fans of vampire lore and historical RPGs can expect a mix of narrative-driven action and player freedom. Rebel Wolves' debut title aims to deliver a fresh take on the genre when it arrives in 2026.
