YouTuber's Daring Trip to Jeffrey Epstein's Island Reveals Hidden Temple
A year-old video by American YouTuber Tyler Oliveira has resurfaced in discussions about Jeffrey Epstein's private island. The footage, recorded in April 2023 and posted the following month, shows Oliveira attempting to access Little Saint James in the U.S. Virgin Islands. His daring trip involved jet skis, a drone, and a confrontation with security after reaching the island's infamous temple.
Oliveira's video, titled I Infiltrated Jeffrey Epstein's Island..., begins with him approaching the island by jet ski. He uses a drone to survey the area, but the device struggles with signal interference—likely due to the island's cybersecurity measures. Despite these obstacles, he lands and explores on foot.
The footage captures a white-painted temple, marked with signs declaring the property private and off-limits. Oliveira films the structure before security personnel spot him. A chase ensues, forcing him to flee the island.
Since the video's upload in May 2023, no new legal actions regarding the island have emerged. The property was sold in 2023 to developer Stephen Deckoff for $60 million, with plans for a luxury resort by 2025. Most civil lawsuits against Epstein's estate have since been settled, though no criminal investigations have advanced as of February 2026.
Oliveira's video remains one of the few public glimpses inside Epstein's island since his death. The island's security and legal status have stayed unchanged, with development plans moving forward. For now, the temple and its surroundings remain closed to the public, guarded by both physical barriers and legal restrictions.
