Western Railway has introduced five special trains to manage the Holi festival rush in the Ratlam Division. These services will connect key cities like Mumbai, Vadodara, and Dr Ambedkar Nagar to destinations including Varanasi, Katihar, Patna, Gorakhpur, and Mau.

The trains will operate weekly with a mix of sleeper, general, and AC coaches to accommodate holiday travellers.

The first of these services, Train No 09195/09196, will run between Vadodara and Mau via Ratlam starting February 21. Two days later, on February 23, Train No 09111/09112 will begin weekly trips between Vadodara and Gorakhpur, also passing through Ratlam.

From February 26, Train No 09343/09344 will connect Dr Ambedkar Nagar to Patna via Ratlam, running until March 27. Another service, Train No 09189/09190, will link Mumbai Central to Katihar weekly via Ujjain and Ratlam from February 21 to March 31.

The final addition, Train No 09183/09184, will operate weekly between Mumbai Central and Varanasi via Ratlam from March 4 to March 27. All five trains have been scheduled to ease travel demand during the festival period.

The new services aim to provide extra capacity for passengers travelling home for Holi. Each train includes multiple coach classes to suit different travel needs. Official updates on further additions can be found through Western Railway's website or press releases.
