Vladivostok is rolling out new measures to improve road safety and traffic flow. The city has begun installing photo and video enforcement cameras while also placing physical barriers to separate lanes and reduce accidents. The changes target dangerous intersections and high-risk areas across the city.

Workers have already placed over 160 metres of road barriers along Tretya Rabochaya Street. These barriers will prevent pedestrians and drivers from crossing at undignated spots, cutting down on collisions. The project was planned alongside the State Traffic Inspectorate to address known accident hotspots.

At the intersection of Imanskaya and Komsomolskaya streets, traffic delineators are now being installed. These will separate lanes more clearly and block risky manoeuvres by drivers. Crews expect to finish this part of the work by the end of the coming weekend. Alongside the physical changes, the city is setting up photo and video cameras to monitor traffic violations. The new enforcement system aims to encourage better driving behaviour and reduce reckless actions on the roads.

The combined use of barriers, delineators, and cameras is designed to make Vladivostok’s streets safer. Drivers will face clearer lane divisions, fewer crossing points, and stricter monitoring. Officials hope the measures will lower accident rates and improve traffic discipline in the long term.
