Vladivostok intersection upgrade begins June 1 with lane closures
A major upgrade to traffic lights at a busy Vladivostok intersection will start on June 1. The work will also include underground cable improvements and road repairs. Drivers should expect partial lane closures during the project. The project focuses on the intersection of Fontannaya Street and Oceansky Prospect. Contractor Prometei LLC will handle the upgrades, beginning as soon as school holidays start. The timing aims to reduce disruption during peak travel periods.
Alongside new traffic signals, crews will replace underground cables. Road surfaces and pavements will also be restored. The work will move in stages, with some lanes remaining open to traffic. All repairs must finish by the end of July. Until then, partial restrictions will stay in place.
The upgrades will modernise the intersection’s traffic system and infrastructure. Once complete, the roads and pavements will be fully restored. Drivers are advised to plan for delays until the project finishes in late July.
