Vladivostok announces three-day cold water shutdowns this week
Vladivostok residents will face planned cold water outages over three days this week. The interruptions begin on Monday, June 8, as part of emergency and scheduled maintenance work. Some areas will also experience extended hot water disruptions due to heating network upgrades.
The first outages will take place on Monday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Affected streets include Shoshina, Volkhovskaya, Ussuriyskaya, Kornilova, Nevskaya, Karbysheva, and Metallurgicheskaya.
On Tuesday, June 9, cold water will be cut off from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Kirova and Russkaya streets. Additional temporary disruptions will impact Pallady, Parusnaya, Reidovaya, Lukkomorye, Amerikanskaya, Kerchenskaya, Yaltinskaya, and Cherkavskogo streets. The most widespread outages occur on Wednesday, June 10, lasting from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Residents on Krygina, Leonova, Nadibaidze, Kalinina, Baltovskaya, Bukovaya, Cheremukhova, and Bakinskaya streets will be without cold water during this period. Alongside these interruptions, hydraulic pressure testing of the main heating networks continues until June 22. The work is being carried out in stages across different districts. In areas where heating mains are being replaced, hot water outages will last longer than usual.
A detailed schedule of the work phases has been published in an official report. Residents are advised to check the list to confirm when their area will be affected. The maintenance aims to ensure the reliability of water and heating systems before the next season.
