Vanino's Mobile Network Gets a Major Boost with New Megafon Base Station

Vanino, a coastal settlement of 16,000 people in Khabarovsk Krai, now has improved mobile coverage. Megafon has activated a new base station in the town’s central area. The upgrade ensures faster data speeds and more reliable calls for residents and businesses alike. The new station supports high-speed internet and stable voice services, including VoLTE. It operates on multiple frequency bands, catering to work, communication, and entertainment needs. Coverage now extends evenly across busy spots like shops, government offices, and main roads.

Earlier this year, Megafon expanded 4G to nearby dacha communities such as Rassvet, Voskhod, and Sokol. The latest addition in central Vanino balances network traffic, boosting reliability in surrounding neighbourhoods. This completes a wider telecom upgrade, linking urban and suburban zones seamlessly.

Vanino serves as a vital logistics hub, home to the region’s largest seaport and a key junction on the Baikal-Amur Mainline. The improved connectivity supports both daily life and the town’s economic role. The new base station strengthens mobile services across Vanino’s busiest areas. Residents gain better internet and call quality, while the upgrade reinforces the town’s telecom network. The project follows earlier expansions, ensuring consistent coverage for both urban and suburban users.
