Vanino District unveils new award for local troops in 'special military operation'

A new commemorative award has been introduced in Vanino District, located in Khabarovsk Krai. The honour recognises local men currently serving in what officials call the 'special military operation'.

The award is titled 'For Participation in the Special Military Operation, With Gratitude from Vanino Municipal District, Khabarovsk Krai'. It follows a similar initiative previously launched in Verkhnebureinsky District.

No details have been released on how many other Russian districts have created comparable honours.

The recognition will be given to servicemen from Vanino District. The move reflects local efforts to acknowledge involvement in the ongoing operation. Further announcements on eligibility or presentation ceremonies have not yet been made.
