Unlimit and Decentro team up to streamline global payments for Indian businesses
Unlimit, a global financial infrastructure platform, has partnered with Decentro, a leading Indian fintech enabler. The collaboration aims to simplify cross-border payments for Indian businesses looking to expand internationally. Together, they will provide a unified system for handling transactions across multiple markets. The partnership allows Indian companies to accept payments through locally preferred methods without needing separate entities in each region. Customers can now process transactions via PIX in Brazil, SEPA Instant in Europe, and popular e-wallets in Asia-Pacific. This integration reduces the need for multiple local setups while ensuring compliance with regional regulations.
Decentro and Unlimit will jointly manage multi-currency conversions, local compliance, and smart transaction routing. Businesses can settle payments with the speed and efficiency of domestic providers, even when operating abroad. The move addresses a key challenge for Indian fintechs: navigating fragmented payment systems and varying regulatory demands while scaling globally.
Rohit Taneja, Founder and CEO of Decentro, highlighted that the partnership offers global merchants a clear pathway into international markets. Irene Skrynova, CEO of Global Payments at Unlimit, added that the collaboration provides end-to-end payment solutions, helping innovators grow faster. The combined infrastructure also extends Decentro’s cross-border capabilities into new regions through Unlimit’s proprietary network. The alliance comes as digital economies in Southeast Asia and Africa are set to reach $1 trillion and $1.5 trillion respectively by 2030. Indian businesses now have access to a single programmable layer for payment acceptance and fund management. This unified approach removes complexity, enabling smoother global expansion for fintechs and digital platforms.
