United Airlines launches two new routes from Chicago O'Hare in 2026
United Airlines has announced two new routes from its Chicago O'Hare hub starting in June 2026. The airline will also expand service to existing destinations as part of a broader growth plan. These additions follow recent infrastructure upgrades at the airport. On June 1, 2026, United will resume nonstop flights between Chicago O’Hare and Erie, Pennsylvania (ERI). The route will operate three times daily during the summer season. Tickets for the 1 hour, 40 minute flight start at $209 one-way or 10,200 MileagePlus miles plus $5.60 in taxes.
A week later, on June 8, 2026, the airline will launch a new nonstop service to Tri-Cities, Tennessee (TRI). This route will also run three times daily in summer, with a flight time of 1 hour, 44 minutes. Fares begin at $214 or 10,200 miles for a one-way ticket.
The expansion includes increased frequency to Lincoln, Nebraska (LNK), with five daily flights from ORD for the summer season. These changes come after United added five more gates at O’Hare and plans to serve 13 new destinations from the airport in 2026. The new routes and expanded services will begin in June 2026. Passengers can now book flights to Erie and Tri-Cities, with competitive pricing and frequent departures. United’s growth at O’Hare continues with these additions to its network.
