A new Trump-branded skyscraper is set to rise on Australia's Gold Coast. The A$1.5 billion project, announced by Altus Property Group, will stand at 340 metres—making it the country's tallest building. Planned for Surfers Paradise Beach, the tower will feature luxury residences, a beach club, and high-end retail spaces.

The Trump International Hotel & Tower will occupy a prime oceanfront site on Trickett Street. At 91 storeys, it will surpass the current tallest Australian building, the Q1 Tower. The development includes 270 luxury residences alongside exclusive dining and retail areas.

Altus CEO David Young finalised the deal in 2017 at Donald Trump's Florida residence. The project is fully funded by private investors from Singapore, Hong Kong, the UAE, and the US. Trump Hotels, which operates eight luxury properties across the USA, Ireland, and Scotland, is also expanding into Dubai, the Maldives, and now Australia's Gold Coast.

With a total value of A$1.5 billion (€900 million), the tower marks a major addition to Surfers Paradise. Construction will bring the first Trump-branded hotel to the Southern Hemisphere, further extending the company's global presence.

The tower's completion will redefine Surfers Paradise's skyline and introduce a new luxury destination. As Australia's tallest building, it will also set a benchmark for high-end residential and hospitality developments in the region. The project remains on track with full private backing and international investment.
