Trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria upgrades logistics with AI-driven dispatch software
Trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria (TMA) has rolled out new in-house logistics software across all four of its Austrian branches. The system introduces faster route planning, real-time delivery updates, and streamlined workflows for dispatch teams. These changes aim to improve efficiency in both planning and customer communication. The updated dispatch software now generates optimal routes automatically. It considers predefined parameters like traffic, distance, and delivery priorities. Planners can still adjust these suggestions manually if needed.
A self-check-in feature allows drivers to start their routes faster than before. The system also calculates and shares estimated delivery windows with recipients in real time. This gives customers more precise advance notifications about their shipments. The new solutions mirror those already in use at Trans-o-flex Express, TMA’s German sister company. By aligning IT systems with existing processes, the company reduces development and maintenance costs. The goal is to create a more efficient and consistent logistics network across both operations.
The software upgrades bring faster route planning, better communication, and smoother workflows for TMA’s teams. Recipients now receive clearer delivery updates, while dispatchers and drivers benefit from optimised tools. The changes build on proven systems already active in the company’s German operations.
