Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised system is gaining traction in Europe. Since its recent launch in the Netherlands and Lithuania, drivers have already covered over 20 million kilometres using the software. Early user feedback suggests the technology handles local road layouts well, even in complex driving conditions. The software first became available in the Netherlands on 10 April, followed by Lithuania on 20 May. Within days, Tesla owners in both countries rapidly increased their usage. Just two days before reaching the 20 million kilometre mark, the total stood at 15 million—meaning drivers logged an additional 5 million kilometres in under 48 hours.
Tesla’s data also shows strong safety figures. Vehicles using FSD Supervised experience one major collision for every 5.3 million miles driven. The company is now pushing for a wider European rollout, building on the early momentum from these two markets. The quick adoption of FSD Supervised in Europe points to growing driver confidence. With over 20 million kilometres already logged, Tesla appears set to expand the software’s availability. The system’s performance on local roads and its safety record will likely shape future regulatory and consumer decisions.
