Syria's First Global FinTech Launches International Banking for Residents

A new financial service has launched in Syria, offering residents access to global banking tools for the first time. nsave, a FinTech company, now provides international accounts, transfers, and savings products to users inside the country. The move comes as Syria’s economic recovery gains attention, with many still lacking basic financial services. nsave has become the first global FinTech to offer these services to Syrians. Users can now open USD, EUR, and GBP accounts, receive inbound transfers, and access international cards. The company’s Syria transfer corridor was built with strict compliance measures, including sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.

The platform operates independently of local banks to manage regulatory risks. Founder and CEO Amer Baroudi highlighted that Syrians have been excluded from essential financial tools for years. nsave’s goal is to restore financial dignity and improve access for those in unstable economies. Beyond Syria, the company plans to expand its transfer and banking services to other underserved regions. Its model focuses on economies with limited banking infrastructure, aiming to bridge gaps in global financial inclusion.

nsave’s launch provides Syrians with direct access to international accounts and money transfers. The service arrives as efforts to rebuild Syria’s financial infrastructure gain momentum. For now, it remains the only FinTech offering such capabilities to users inside the country.
