Syktyvkar's Tentukovskaya Street enters final phase of major road upgrades
The second phase of road improvements has begun on Tentukovskaya Street in the capital of the Komi Republic, according to the city's road maintenance agency, Dorozhnoye Khozyaystvo.
Under the plan, contractors are now constructing a new pull-off bay for a bus stop near the Atlantida residential complex, which will be located slightly beyond the previous stop. During the first phase in 2025, specialists from the contractor Dorinvest fully replaced the lower layer of asphalt concrete and completed 80% of the sidewalk upgrades.
As part of the second phase, Dorinvest will lay the final asphalt layer (currently, only the section from Oktyabrsky Prospect to the Atlantida complex has two layers), adjust turning radii at the junctions with Veteranov and Lytkin streets to improve traffic flow and safety, and finish the sidewalks and bus stops.
Additionally, the project will involve removing hazardous, dying, or obstructing trees within sidewalk boundaries while preserving healthy specimens, the agency's experts noted.
