Stabilis Solutions lands record 10-year LNG bunkering deal amid 15% revenue surge
Stabilis Solutions has reported strong financial growth across its key sectors. The company secured its largest contract ever—a 10-year marine bunkering deal tied to a major new LNG facility. Third-quarter revenue also climbed by 15%, driven by higher demand and rising commodity prices.
The company's revenue rose by 15% compared to the same period last year. This increase came from a 21% jump in LNG gallons sold, along with stronger commodity pricing. Organic growth hit double digits, fuelled by rising demand in aerospace, marine, and power generation markets.
Aerospace revenue surged by over 88%, boosted by a busy commercial space sector. Power generation revenue also grew by 31%, thanks to seasonal demand from data centres and distributed power needs. Marine revenue climbed by 32%, supported by late-summer activity from cruise ships and offshore supply vessels. Stabilis Solutions has shifted its strategy toward long-term 10-year treasury contracts. The centrepiece is a 10-year agreement linked to a planned 350,000-gallon-per-day LNG facility in Galveston. While the specific customer was not named, the deal is part of the wider Galveston LNG Consortium project. Construction on the Galveston facility is expected to begin in early 2026, with operations set to start by late 2027. The timeline depends on securing the necessary financing. Once complete, the site will become a key part of the company's expanded LNG bunkering network.
The new 10-year contract marks the largest in Stabilis Solutions' history. With revenue growth across all major divisions, the company is now focused on long-term 10-year treasury projects. The Galveston facility remains on track for a 2027 launch, pending financial approvals.
