ST Engineering reshuffles leadership to drive global expansion in 2026
ST Engineering has announced a leadership reshuffle at the top of its organisation. From 1 June 2026, Jeffrey Lam will take on the role of Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer. The move comes as the company expands its global operations and strengthens its leadership team. Lam will step down from his current positions as Group Chief Operating Officer (Operations Excellence) and President of Commercial Aerospace. Despite this change, he will remain on the Group Executive Committee and continue reporting to Vincent Chong, the Group President and CEO. In his new role, Lam will support Chong in driving key enterprise priorities, improving Group-wide synergies and enhancing organisational excellence.
Lam’s experience spans over two decades in the aerospace sector, where he has led operational improvements, customer partnerships and growth strategies. Although he will no longer serve as President of Commercial Aerospace, he will still oversee the business at the management level.
Kevin Chow, currently Head of Aerostructures and Systems at Commercial Aerospace, will replace Lam as President of the division. The transition aligns with ST Engineering’s ongoing global expansion, backed by a strong order book and disciplined strategy execution.
Chong highlighted that Lam’s appointment strengthens the company’s leadership structure. The reshuffle aims to ensure continued growth and operational efficiency across the group. The changes will take effect in mid-2026, with Lam focusing on broader Group responsibilities. Chow will lead the Commercial Aerospace division, while ST Engineering maintains its strategic push for global expansion. The company’s leadership adjustments reflect its commitment to long-term growth and operational strength.
