Seapoint and WealthKernel team up to unlock treasury solutions for European startups
Seapoint has teamed up with WealthKernel to bring better treasury solutions to European startups. The partnership will let founders access Money Market Funds (MMFs) and custody services directly through Seapoint's platform. Many high-growth companies currently leave cash idle in current accounts, missing out on potential returns.
Seapoint's platform already uses AI to automate payroll, expenses, invoice payments, and reporting. Now, by integrating WealthKernel's API-first technology, it will also offer institutional treasury products—specifically BlackRock's Sterling and Euro Government Liquidity Funds. This move aims to help startups earn yield on cash that would otherwise sit unused.
WealthKernel's infrastructure allows Seapoint to provide these services without adding extra complexity for users. As an Appointed Representative (AR) of WealthKernel, Seapoint can embed custody and MMF access into its existing tools. The goal is to simplify capital management for founders who often struggle with financial operations.
Research shows that 95% of UK finance leaders face difficulties with business spend and expense management. Many startups still rely on basic current accounts, losing out on opportunities to grow their cash reserves. This partnership seeks to address that gap by making treasury solutions more accessible.
The collaboration between Seapoint and WealthKernel will give startups a way to manage operational cash flow more efficiently. By offering MMFs and automated treasury tools, the service aims to help businesses focus on scaling rather than financial admin. The solution is now available directly within Seapoint's platform.
