Sberbank adjusts branch hours for International Women's Day in southern Russia
Sberbank has announced changes to its branch hours in southern Russia and the North Caucasus for International Women's Day. The adjustments will take place from March 7 to March 9, with limited services on the holiday itself. The bank also extended its well-wishes to women celebrating the occasion.
On March 7, all branches that usually open on Saturdays will operate as normal. This ensures customers can access services ahead of the holiday.
On March 8, only a limited number of branches will remain open. These designated locations will handle essential transactions while most others stay closed. The bank did not disclose exactly how many branches would provide services that day.
By March 9, regular Sunday operations will resume. Any branch normally open on Sundays will welcome customers again.
Sberbank also took the opportunity to congratulate women on International Women's Day. The message was shared alongside the announcement of adjusted working hours.
The temporary changes mean customers in the affected regions should check branch availability before visiting. Those needing services on March 8 will have to rely on the select branches remaining open. Normal schedules will return once the holiday weekend ends.
