Saudi Arabia's WAMID Unveils Cloud-Based Analytics to Transform Capital Markets
WAMID, the technology division of Saudi Tadawul Group, has launched WAMID Analytics—a new suite of advanced market analysis tools. The platform aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia's capital markets while improving global integration. Developed with BMLL, a leader in harmonised market data, it offers cloud-based analytics for financial professionals.
The platform provides a no-code, cloud-based Analytics Dashboard for deep market insights. Users can examine market behaviour, liquidity, and execution quality in fine detail. It also includes visual tools for trend comparison, performance benchmarking, and microstructure analysis.
WAMID Analytics supports a wide range of applications, from institutional research to trading strategy optimisation. The system draws on order book data from global equity markets to deliver advanced metrics. Yazeed Al Domaiji, CEO of WAMID, highlighted its role in boosting the Saudi capital market and fostering international connectivity.
The launch reinforces WAMID's position in driving digital transformation across Saudi Arabia's financial sector. However, as of February 2026, no public data exists on its adoption compared to regional stock market competitors or its specific institutional users in the country.
WAMID Analytics is now available to financial institutions and market participants. The platform's tools are designed to improve decision-making and market efficiency. Its long-term impact on Saudi Arabia's financial landscape will depend on adoption and performance in the coming years.
