S7 Airlines launches direct Vladivostok-Guangzhou flights this October
S7 Airlines will begin direct flights from Vladivostok to Guangzhou on October 27. The new route connects Russia’s eastern hub with one of China’s largest cities, home to nearly 19 million people. The airline already operates services from Vladivostok to Beijing and Shanghai. Now, Guangzhou—the country’s fourth-biggest city—will join its network. Flights will run twice a week, with an estimated duration of 5 hours and 10 minutes.
Passengers can expect faster boarding at Vladivostok Airport, thanks to new biometric technology. Industry observers believe the route could attract strong demand if S7 offers competitive ticket prices.
The launch expands S7’s presence in China, linking Vladivostok with a third major destination. If fares remain affordable, the route may become a popular choice for travellers between Russia and southern China.
