RVB Group expands logistics empire with three major acquisitions

RVB Group has expanded its transport and logistics services by acquiring three key companies. The deal includes taxi service Citymobil and freight platforms Taksovichkof and Gruzovichkof. These businesses were previously owned by investment firm People&People since 2022.

Separately, reports also surfaced about potential talks between RVB and Azur Air, though both sides have responded differently to the claims. The acquisition of Citymobil, Taksovichkof, and Gruzovichkof was confirmed by Igor Rudzkiy, owner of People&People. While he acknowledged the sale to RVB, he did not reveal the financial details of the transaction. The move aligns with RVB's broader strategy to strengthen its in-house transport and logistics operations.

RVB has stated that the deal will help streamline its rapid-delivery infrastructure. This expansion is expected to speed up order fulfilment across more than 100 cities.

Meanwhile, on March 16, reports suggested RVB was in negotiations to acquire Azur Air, with a possible deal closure by May. However, Azur Air's press service denied these claims, insisting no discussions about a sale were taking place. RVB also declined to comment when contacted by Forbes.

No further details have been released regarding RVB's market growth in logistics and transport over the past two years through acquisitions. The purchase of Citymobil, Taksovichkof, and Gruzovichkof marks a clear step in RVB's expansion plans. The company aims to boost efficiency in its delivery networks and logistics services. As for the Azur Air reports, neither side has provided confirmation, leaving the situation unresolved.
