Russian meat producer exposed for falsifying product origins and records
Rosselkhoznadzor has accused Vector LLC of producing meatballs and dumplings from unidentified meat. The company also provided false details about the raw materials used in its products. Authorities have taken action following the discovery of these violations. An investigation revealed discrepancies in Vector LLC’s production records. The company declared using 30 kg of chum salmon fillets and 20 kg of minced fish from low-value species. However, its representative issued veterinary certificates for 108 kg of chum salmon dumplings and 37 kg of fish meatballs.
The raw materials’ quality and origin were not properly documented. Inspectors found the company had previously violated veterinary regulations in May. These earlier breaches contributed to the current scrutiny. Rosselkhoznadzor issued a formal warning to Vector LLC. The manufacturer was ordered to correct the violations and ensure compliance with veterinary legislation. The case highlights ongoing concerns about food safety standards at the facility.
