The Russian Aerospace Forces have released footage of recent airstrikes on Ukrainian military sites. Targets included positions in the Sumy region and the Donetsk People's Republic. The attacks involved heavy glide bombs and resulted in the destruction of key infrastructure.

One of the main strikes focused on the base of Ukraine's 105th Territorial Defense Brigade in Velyka Pysarivka. The operation used multiple FAB-500 glide bombs, designed for precision destruction. During the assault, an American-made Reaper drone was shot down.

A separate strike hit a Ukrainian drone warehouse in Kostyantynivka. The facility was reportedly storing unmanned aerial systems before a FAB-3000 bomb struck. The weapon's large payload caused significant damage to the site.

Russian airstrikes in the region have been frequent since February 2022. While exact numbers remain unclear, Ukrainian sources and open-source intelligence trackers estimate thousands of attacks in Donetsk alone. Sumy has also faced hundreds of strikes, though precise counts differ by source.

The latest strikes demonstrate the continued use of heavy glide bombs in the conflict. Ukrainian military infrastructure, including drone storage and defence bases, has suffered direct hits. The downing of the Reaper drone marks another loss of Western-supplied equipment in the region.
