The Gorky Automobile Plant has launched the Gazelle Logistik, Russia's first low-floor cargo vans built for courier and delivery services. The vehicle entered a three-month trial in Nizhny Novgorod this month, offering a mix of practical features for urban logistics.

Designed for efficiency, the Gazelle Logistik includes a direct walkthrough between the cab and cargo area. This layout speeds up loading and unloading, reducing downtime for drivers. The vans payload capacity reaches 1,200 kg, making it suitable for bulky or heavy deliveries.

The cargo compartment is adaptable, with foldable shelving and adjustable lashing rails to secure different types of goods. An extendable loading ramp and transport trolley further simplify handling of large items. For driver comfort, the cab comes with air conditioning, heated seats, and multiple charging ports.

The van is currently undergoing real-world testing in Nizhny Novgorod. The trial period will last three months, allowing operators to assess its performance in daily use.

The Gazelle Logistik combines a low-floor design with a flexible load space, aiming to improve delivery workflows. Its features cater to both driver convenience and cargo management. The trial in Nizhny Novgorod will determine its readiness for wider deployment.
