Russia's 2026 summer flights expand with new domestic and international routes

Russia's summer flight schedule for 2026 begins today, running until late October. The new timetable introduces expanded domestic connections and fresh international routes. Turkish destinations remain popular, though exact figures on route numbers and airline dominance are still unclear. Domestic travel sees a boost with S7 Airlines launching two new regional services: Moscow to Kyzyl and Krasnoyarsk to Gorno-Altaisk. The carrier also revives its seasonal Irkutsk to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky route. Meanwhile, Aeroflot Group operates over 160 routes, with added flights between Moscow and Far Eastern hubs like Vladivostok, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and Yakutsk. Frequencies increase on key domestic links, including Moscow to Makhachkala, Mineralnye Vody, and St. Petersburg.

International options expand as well. New flights connect Nizhny Novgorod to Serbia, while Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, and Zhukovsky gain routes to various destinations. Uzbekistan's FlyOne Asia enters the market with five planned services from Tashkent to Moscow and other Russian cities. The top five countries for Russian airlines this summer are Uzbekistan, China, Turkey, Thailand, and Egypt. The updated schedule reflects growing demand for both domestic and international travel. Passengers can track further changes through official Rosaviatsiya channels on MAX and Telegram. The adjustments aim to improve connectivity across Russia and key foreign destinations.
