Rugby Australia extends key partnership for foreign exchange payments
Rugby Australia has renewed its partnership with Corpay Cross-Border as the official foreign exchange payments provider. The multi-year extension covers both the Wallabies and Wallaroos national teams. Corpay will continue offering currency exchange risk management and global payment services to the organisation.
The collaboration began in 2023, with Corpay Cross-Border supplying foreign exchange solutions to Rugby Australia. Their services have supported the financial operations of the governing body and its corporate partners.
Phil Waugh, CEO of Rugby Australia, welcomed the extended agreement. He highlighted the benefits of Corpay's expertise in managing currency exchange risks and facilitating international transactions.
Brad Loder, Chief Marketing Officer at Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, also shared his enthusiasm. He described the partnership as a source of pride and emphasised the company's commitment to supporting Australian rugby.
The renewed deal ensures Corpay remains the Official Foreign Exchange Payments Partner for both the men's and women's national teams. However, the exact duration of the extension has not been disclosed.
The extended partnership will allow Rugby Australia and its business partners to keep using Corpay's payment platform. The agreement reinforces the company's role in handling foreign exchange needs for the Wallabies and Wallaroos. Financial and logistical operations for both teams will continue to rely on Corpay's solutions.
