Rock in Rautheim festival expands bus services for smooth travel

The Rock in Rautheim festival is set to take place in Braunschweig’s Rautheim district on May 8 and 9. To help visitors travel smoothly, BSVG will boost bus services on line 412 and introduce special festival routes. BSVG has planned extra buses for the event. Between 8:38 p.m. and 11:23 p.m., line 412 will run more frequently than usual. The last scheduled trip on this route will leave Katholischer Friedhof at 11:46 p.m.

Special services will also operate, starting at *Reitlingstraße* and stopping at *Hauptbahnhof* and *Rathaus*. All trips, including these additional services, are listed in the BSVG timetable. Festival entry tickets will double as public transport passes within Braunschweig’s city limits (fare zone 40). Validity begins three hours before the event starts and lasts until the end of service. Only the ticket—not the wristband—will count as proof of fare. Regular line 412 services will stick to their normal routes and schedules.

The changes aim to make travel easier for festival-goers. With more buses and extended ticket validity, visitors can rely on public transport throughout the event. Full details are available in the BSVG timetable.
