The 2026 RegTech Africa Conference & Expo will take place from 20th to 22nd May at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja, Nigeria. Organised under the theme Building Trust, Infrastructure and Policy for a Borderless Economy, the event aims to gather global leaders in policy, finance, and technology to explore trusted digital financial systems, cross-border trade, and regulatory innovation.

The conference is backed by the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Presidential Committee on Economic & Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI) and the Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA). Thousands of attendees from Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America are expected to participate.

Over three days, the event will feature strategic ministerial dialogues, closed-door executive roundtables, and investment-focused breakout sessions. Technology showcases and curated networking platforms will also form part of the programme. A highlight will be the Global Startup World Cup Tournament – Regional Challenge, where African startups can pitch their solutions for a chance to win a $1,000,000 investment prize.

In parallel, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) recently launched Airbel Ventures, a humanitarian impact investing fund. This initiative focuses on breakthrough technologies for crisis-affected communities, with Nigeria serving as a key pilot area for digital infrastructure solutions in health systems.

Registration, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities are now open. Interested parties can contact [email protected] or visit *www.regtechafricaconference.com* for further details.

The conference seeks to strengthen collaboration between public and private sectors, multinational corporations, and technology firms. By fostering discussions on digital trust and regulatory frameworks, it aims to support the development of a more connected, borderless economy. Strategic partnerships and sponsorships remain available for organisations looking to engage.
