Shuttle Service and Public Transport Options for Palmator Beer Festival on Adlersberg, March 29, 2026
For the official tapping of the Palmator strong beer at Adlersberg on Sunday, March 29, 2026, the district-owned public transport company GFN will operate a shuttle service between Regensburg Central Station and Adlersberg. Buses will run between Platform C1 at Regensburg Hauptbahnhof and the Adlersberg Fuchskurve stop. The shuttle will operate from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 7:15 PM, with departures every 15 minutes. The express buses will run nonstop in both directions. The walk from the Adlersberg Fuchskurve stop to the Prösslbräu festival grounds is approximately 400 meters.
Additionally, on Palm Sunday, regular bus line 12 will run hourly between Regensburg Hauptbahnhof and Heitzenhofen, stopping at Adlersberg Kreuzung. From there, it is about a 900-meter walk to the strong beer festival. These trips will not serve the Reifenthal Blumenstraße or Adlersberg Fuchskurve stops. Services toward Pielenhofen/Kallmünz, which normally pass through Adlersberg, will be rerouted via Reifenthal to Pettendorf. In the direction of Regensburg Hauptbahnhof, the Aichahof and Hinterberg stops will not be served after 3:00 PM.
Line 28 will operate on its regular schedule between Regensburg Central Station and Kneiting. From the Kneiting stop, the walk to the Palmator festival takes about 35 minutes.
With RVVswipe, festivalgoers can purchase the right bus ticket with just a swipe—no fare knowledge required. Before checking in, up to four additional passengers can be added, and the RVV app will automatically calculate the fare. A round trip for two people from Regensburg to Adlersberg and back costs €7.50, while small groups of up to five pay €10.00.
