Prismo Metals uncovers bonanza-grade silver at Arizona's Silver King Mine
Prismo Metals Inc. has reported strong results from its Phase I drilling program at the Silver King Mine in Arizona. The company, listed on the CSE as PRIZ and on the OTC as PMOMF, uncovered multiple high-grade silver intercepts. These findings confirm significant unmined mineralisation in the upper portion of the deposit. The Silver King Mine lies in the Superior Mining District near the town of Superior, Arizona. Drilling at hole SK-26-08 returned 2.3 metres grading 1,452 g/t silver, 1.6 g/t gold, and 1.9% copper. This included a 0.4-metre interval assaying 4,811 g/t silver, 4.6 g/t gold, 5% copper, and 3% lead.
Hole SK-26-07 revealed potassic alteration with rising copper values, indicating a possible porphyry copper source nearby. The transition to copper mineralisation at depth mirrors patterns seen at the adjacent Silver Queen mine. These results suggest the upper pipelike body at Silver King remains largely unmined and holds further exploration potential.
The company now plans reconnaissance mapping, rock sample analysis, and a propylitic mineral chemistry program. It will also integrate the new data into a 3D geological model to define targets for a Phase 2 diamond drilling program. The Phase I program has confirmed extensive bonanza-grade silver mineralisation at Silver King. The next steps will focus on refining targets and preparing for further drilling. The findings strengthen the project’s potential for both silver and copper resources.
