Winter Without Failures: 35 km of Pipes to be Replaced in Primorye for the Heating Season

Primorye Territory races to upgrade heating before winter's deep freeze

Energy firms in Russia’s Primorye Territory have started preparing for winter. Primteploenergo is leading a major modernisation programme to upgrade its heat supply infrastructure. The work aims to improve reliability ahead of the cold season. The company will replace around 35 kilometres of heating networks across the region. Over 10 kilometres of pipelines will receive modern pre-insulated tubing. The upgrades are concentrated in Nakhodka Urban District and Bolshoy Kamen.

Additional improvements include replacing 36 boilers and upgrading 127 pumps. Technicians will also install 44 units of draft equipment and mount more than 5,000 control and shutoff valves. In Vladivostok, up to 25 kilometres of pipes will be replaced as part of wider winter readiness efforts.

Winter preparations are underway in all municipalities of Primorye Territory. Last year, Nakhodka saw an 18% drop in heating system failures after similar pipeline upgrades. Renovating inter-district networks is expected to further enhance heating reliability. The modernisation programme will strengthen heat supply across key areas. New equipment and upgraded pipelines are set to reduce failures during winter. The measures form part of broader efforts to ensure stable heating for the region’s residents.
