Omsk's Abandoned Leisure Centre Sells for 41M Rubles After Years of Delays
In Omsk, an unfinished leisure center on Krasnoy Put has been sold at auction. The building, located near the Sibiryak Cultural Center and only 7% complete, fetched 41 million rubles for the local authorities.
The starting price for the lot was just 1.7 million rubles, but the auction attracted 20 bids. The highest offer came from Vector-S LLC.
The property's troubled history dates back to 2006, when Escalibur LLC leased the land from the city for development. After years of delays, ownership passed to BetonInvest-3 LLC before the city ultimately reclaimed the site through the courts and put it up for sale.
It is worth noting that the land plot itself was not included in the auction and remains city-owned.
